Members of the Audio Society of Minnesota meet from September to May/June to discuss, learn about, and experience the latest and greatest audio gear and software. We also publish a monthly newsletter during our season.
Members also receive access to ASMs online community. "Online Community Access" includes:
1. Subscription to the ASM calendar. Sign up for a FREE Google Calendar account when you become an ASM member and get notifications via email or SMS about upcoming events. You'll also be able to add events to the public calendar that you think the group would be interested in. Keep in mind that the ASM calendar is a community space and is viewable by the public.
2. Full access to the Photo Album group. Sign up for a FREE Flickr account and get access to our full photo gallery. Add comments, browse the events and add you own photos to the groups album. You can set your photos to "Public" (the whole world can see them) or "Private" (just members).
3. Join the discussion. As a member you will be added to our discussion board on Google Groups. You do not need a Google account to be added to the discussion board, just an email address where your invitation can be sent. Talk about the latest tube amp and the best way to re-wire it. Let your fellow ASM members know about that sweet sounding pre-amp you have in the basement that you want to find a new home for. Discuss what you want, as long as it's audiophiled.
